This was also a (belated thanks to oddly slow shipping) Christmas present.List of Robot Combat events around the world I am extremely disappointed as I was looking forward to using these with my nephew, and you can't do much with just one of them.
And even with the working controller, it feels very jerky trying to drive, whereas the other is much smoother. Dealt with it that way and was just going to request another remote, as my nephew wantes to play, so took the broken controller and the spinning piece on the bot to make the weapons work turned off after a couple of minutes and won't work now, even with the working controller. It works kind of if you hold it an inch from the battlebots, so the IR receiver on it is basically broken. Just thrown in some bubble wrap inside of the box, instead of packaged nicely like the other one I ordered. Product however feels like a used product. Luckily it came today when my nephew was over, so it worked out. Waited for quite a while for this (ordered the orange one as well and it came in 3 or 4 days).
